    This weekend I made a custom deck bag to carry Food and misc. for the longer trips over open water. It is made out of the remaining Cuben Fiber I had from the sail. It is not water proof and is closed with velcro.

   I did open a photo bucket account too try that for the pictures Hope it works when I click post.

   First test run today of my new Spray Deck, about 15 miles.  Worked flawlessly in choppy conditions and a 14 knot wind.  Here is a photo - since I cannot sew, this was all done with heat-sealable material I ironed.

   I had to give up paddling today after a short 2hour paddle yesterday.

   My 5 year old son wanted to see Kyle Busch race in Cordele, GA. Well we watched Kyle Busch win today.

   My son wanted to talk to him, yes after he won. So as Kyle left the winners circle, he said hey to my son and patted him on the arm.

   I love being a Dad!
