Be prepared for no-see-ums. May want to bring some shade.

I've been experimenting lately with some of the insect repellent clothing from Columbia and ExOfficio. At the OFUM2013 there were a few times that the noseeums where out pretty good at the start/finish beach. I had the same problem at some of the campgrounds along the way. When I changed my shorts and t-shirt for the insect repellent trousers and long sleeve shirt it was like magic.
Another benefit of these products is sun protection. They are well ventilated and dry quickly. I have added them to my sacrosanct kit and my warm weather paddling/pedalling/sailing attire.

So sorry for being away ( I have my reasons.)
As of now I plan to be there, no idea yet of where I will be sleeping.
I will have my aray of summer, hot, bug, and shade stuff with me to share ideas and and more then willing to learn and show what works for me.
This is not a race or any long distance stuff so bring the kitchen sink and be comfy. A folding chair should be a for shure.
Lets do it!

She-Who-Minds-The-Dogs, (Anne) and I will stop by in our class 1 boats. Not camping though. May even bring some of Toby's beer to him. Left over from Key Largo.
As for bugs: I tried Toby's recommendation of spraying my tent and camp clothes with pyrythrum (sp?) and it works great.

Boys and girls, don't get scared off by the all the buggy talk. I am not expecting the bugs to be that bad. Its the beach. Stay near the water's edge and you will be fine. Might need a little bug juice around the tents near dusk and dawn. Any amount of sea breeze will help keep them at bay.
And bring some firewood. A good fire always helps.
