Switch from 2 to 1 crew between EC & UFC?

Anyone ever done the EC 2-up and continued the UFC single-handed because of time off or cost costraints for the other person? I have searched the forums and rules but did not find anything pertaining to this, except for Sir Tackalot finishing after Windwatcher's rhabdomyolysis and airlift within the EC.

Chief & Elders, would this be allowable? Also, if allowable, how would we need to enter amd what entry fees?

If I remember right, this has not been done before. But we can make it work. Do it this way:
1. Register as a double in EC2018.
2. Register as a single in UF2018.
3. Send me an email reminder after making both of these registrations.
4. When invoices come out, check for a credit in the UF2018 for your EC2018 payment.
5. It will be OK to switch boats at Key Largo if necessary.

Not sure if it will happen for sure but needed to see if it was even a possibility! My son and my almost 80 yr old father are both interested! Appreciate it, and will be on the beach for something for sure this year!
