Anyone interested in buying my Superior Expedition solo canoe? I thought I would ask here before posting on craigslist or ebay. The canoe is in excellent condition and includeds two catamaran poles, a spray cover, and ribs. The canoe has a mast step already installed for a Balough rig. I would like to get $2500.00 for it but I am open to resonable offers. The canoe is green and white. This is a great decked canoe and served me well in the 2011 ultra marathon. The canoe was built in late 2010. I think it's number 11. Don't hesitate to email me at williamwynnmorgan@yahoo.com or call me at 239-464-4944 any time. The canoe is currently in Knoxville, TN. I am willing to meet halfway if it's within 400 miles. Thanks, Bill

Bill,
Wow I wish I could swing it. A SupEx would help complete my assortment of expedition boats, added to my Loon, Monarch, and Sea Wind. I paddled one last summer. Beautiful boat and capable of packing out a Moose while paddling down the Yukon!
Having sold over 20 canoes in the last couple years...I would advise against eBay (eBay and Paypal fees eat you up). Craigslist is fine if you understand 9 of 10 contacts are scammers. But really, I sold many on paddling.net and rivermiles.com. That boat will be great for the MO340, hence the rivermiles.com reference.
Good luck selling it. Hope to see it out there sometime with another appreciative paddler. That is a very attractive price, by the way. Scott has only built around 15 of them and they go for $3500 or so new, versus $5000 for a new Kruger Sea Wind.

Thanks Joe,
It's a great deal at $2500.00. I paid $3500.00 for it and then add another $500.00 with the spray cover and catamaran poles. If you know anyone who's interested let me know. It's a great boat!

You got that right Tom. Makes a man want to hoard them. Wait a minute. We are already hoarding them, aren't we?
Has anybody ever paddled a Clipper Sea 1? Not a Kruger, I know. But I was wondering. I have a natural tendency to want them all.

Hello Joe,
I rented a Clipper Sea 1 in 2010 for the Yukon River Quest. Its very similar to a Superior and Kruger canoe - it just has fewer layers of Kevlar. I would definitely feel comfortable using a Clipper in an Everglades Challenge.
