If you're planning on purchasing a SPOT there is a 50% off rebate form available if you purchase one by today (2/14/17). Certain online purchases don't qualify (Ebay, Amazon, secondary market), but the prices aren't any different on Amazon than they are on West Marine or Bass Pro or any of the other big retailers. I ordered mine from West Marine online. If you're near a place that has them in stock, they must cost at least $149.95 in order to be qualified for the rebate.
