I may have missed it somehere but with the old site and the new site I can't figure out where/how the shore contact person should make the daily report.

Yes, you missed a couple of threads. The 24-hour reports are now optional because hitting the OK or Custom buttons is taking over. There reports are strictly for your own records. Scroll down on the front page of the forum and find the Racer Logs. If you click on that you will see a couple of examples of the new format.

The best way to make a time stamp is to copy and past from the race duration located at the top of the page. For example, Start In 6 Days, 20 Hours, 15 Minutes.
That was highlighted and copied into this post. After the race starts it will change from a countdown to a duration.
