Talking About Adventure In Small Boats

Got the model wrong: P&H Capella 173.
If you are looking for a kayak to do challenges in, you could do better than the Capella. It will work but it is more of a day boat than a put miles behind you boat. I tried one out before I got my Scorpio.
Thanks.
I should have given a little more detail: I'm looking for a day boat, not a challenge boat. I'd much rather sail 300 miles than paddle!
I've got a lot of experience in whitewater kayaks, (was an instructor, ran lots of hard stuff, etc.) and can still roll both sides even though it's been over ten years since I owned a WW boat. I'm just looking for a boat to mess around on local lakes and to take with me to the coast for day tripping.
I like the British-style boats and hate rudders on a kayak. So I think this may be good choice for me.
I am a Brit boat fan as well. I hate rudders too. I have paddled a ton of boats over the last few months, and am now in the market for a Cetus MV for my second NCC this year and first EC next year.
I like the P&H boats , Im keen on ther new dalphine , as a good fun day boat and for costal exploring trips , woldent be eny good for a chalenge, In Scotland ther are a lot of the P&H kayaks fited with my sails , ther owners report good things . for a fast boat I wold look at glass rather than plastic the liter to cary to. skegs are good, but iv also seen sume of the P&H plastic boat arive hear in OZ with both skeg and rudder .
Right now I'm second in line to buy this boat. Hopefully the deal will fall through with the other guy.
