BermudaBoy is killing it, guessing he will finish by midnight, and Pasaic Paddler is not too far behind! Tri's seem to be having a tougher time of it today, but once done with the circle I'm guessing the wind should be favorable.

They have rain and thunderstorms rolling through right now... I just got a text message from PassaicPaddler that he is safe on shore and waiting for things to settle down a bit before heading back out.
He had a little delay after paddling past the CP then having to turn around and to back. Gotta watch the GPS a little closer!

Looks like everyone had the same idea and hunkered down for a bit. Smart.

RidgeRunner is heading toward the finish in his 2015 AI. The Lammerus's team is at the end of the island and heading to the finish behind him. PassaicPaddler is also on the move from Tilghman Point where CleanSlate and BermudaBoy are stopped. ShartBait dropped out and was picked up last night.

My 1st observation of an event. BermudaBoy was kicking ass! We watched 4 boats go by last evening off the mouth of Pikering Creek where we anchored for the night. Where can I post pics?

Dipsyled,
You can post there here, but they must be hosted somewhere else, see this thread for instructions:

If you have a LOT of pictures, it may be easier to make an album in Photobucket, Flikr, Facebook etc... and just provide a link.

It was my 3rd time on this OF course. OFUM2013, OFC2014, and OFUM2015. Each time was a little different. The notables this time for the OFUM was a Southern wind the first day which meant the sailors had to tack going South. Then we got slammed with thunder storms going around Wye Island. Then the wind died and most had to paddle to the finish. I got eaten by mosquitos on Tilghman Island (though I didn't realize it till later). The only shame was that I never really had a good opportunity to fly my asymmetric spinnaker on this trip. I did get a chance to do lots of paddling which is always fun (not). But still, a day paddling on the water even for a sailor is better than a good day at work. Even though I was the last finisher, it was pretty cool to get the applause when I got to the banquet already under progress. The tribe is great!
