   Is a communal dinner customary on OFUM Eve?

   Any thoughts?

   Since this is the first OFUM, we will have to start our own tradition.  I do know that for the EC, we had a communal dinner/party on the eve of the eve.  For that race, people typically went to bed early on the actual eve and kept in smaller groups or to their own meditations.  The OFUM is a much shorter race and there may be more willingness to do a communal thing the night before.  I'm up for anything but I probably won't drink any alcohol the night before the race.  I want to stay good and hydrated.

   In the EC we have the parties at the camp ground, NCC there is the restaurant at the start line where everyone gathers since it is the only place in town. I have made more friends there then any place else. OFUM??? Registration or race day we are too busy getting ready. I guess the old days of having a bonfire on the beach are no longer politicaly correct. Any ideas???

   I will miss the award ceremony. Work requires me to be back on Tuesday...

   Cafe Sado or the Americantina would be convenient options if you don't mind eating at a restourant.  See the local knowledge forum post.
