Anybody ever use a Folboat? It seems to have the genetics of a Kruger Sea Wind. I wonder how it would paddle solo with a single blade...

JWL- NCPC Derby winner BlueJay used one in the OFUM13 and it looks like he's in it again for the OFC14.
I paddle a Sea Wind and a Klepper Aerius II - which is similar to a Folbot. The Klepper paddles well with single blades - both one and two paddlers. I like sitting on a throwable cushion on top of the regular Klepper seat, for a bit of extra rise. I also use the rudder. I've only tried 50" bent shaft paddles; the 50" length seems fine, but I suspect I could use a shorter paddle in Klepper - maybe shorter in both boats. The Kruger and Klepper are similar in many ways.
