You may have noticed a new event called the MN Record Run posted. What is this? Following completion of last year's Kruger/Waddell Challenge, WaterTriber's MAKK and I decided we'd try to go faster than 80 hours 40 minutes and set a new record for this historic canoe travel route.
This past May, WaterTriber's, Kelso and Nordstjernen, smashed that record by doing it in 69 hours 25 minutes. MAKK and I were awestruck by their accomplishment, dismayed by what that time meant to us, but still determined to make our own attempt.
So that is what the MNRR2019 event is...MAKK and BeaV's tandem canoe record attempt that Chief suggested be tracked here on the WaterTribe Tracking Map. We are set to launch Thursday 8/15 at 4:00 am weather conditions permitting.
Thanks Chief, I think..., for the tracking capability here!
