Fellow at loft, we used in Sarasota no longer available to put in reefs.. I need to get a reef put into a Severne Windsurfing Sail. Anyone know someone willing to do within budget of $250.. Involves cutting down mast sleeve around 1.4M then crossing down diagonally to leech, reeinforcing hi-stress areaes, adding two zippers (vertical & diagonal) and single side velrco cover over both... (got plenty of photos on how it is done on my current sails)

I would try Island Nautical near downtown St Petersburg.
They definetly have the ability, don't know if the cost will work for you...

We have our own sailmaker in the tribe Tom Bremen. He was on the Dovekie the last two ECs. Super sailmakers has made my last three custom sails and was reasonable and open to my strange requests. DWM

I'm sure SewSew knows as much about performance sail-making as anybody, with credentials galore. He's up in Ft Walton Beach.

Skinnygenes (or Skinnyjeans)...whichever one is Stephen Antworth (the other is Kip Smith), I believe is a sail maker as well.

I recall in a time when Men were Men, I heard 'bout one young fellar who, hanging on for dear life in a sudden squall reefed his sail by slicing it with the sharp edge of his foreign film card. No damn zippers. He limped across the finish line into folklore legend. Probaly a tall tale.
