Wonderful & very Kind person at the NCC Fisheries Managment, went out of her way to get permission and get this map for us. Haven't yet, but will later upload scaled coords from it to same folder belwo. This info based on current granted permits, but she informed that does not necessarily mean all the nets will be in use, but the poles will be there.... This will be a relief to have especially running fast at night... ps. I noticed that map doesn't show one at Hall's Point now... but there has often been one there, for what that may not worth!!! Map is in "NCC21 Prep Folder": https://1drv.ms/u/s!As-ijvHAbAk0mGIsCLeA-T0OjLXr?e=PUTQpb

I uploaded two import files to link folder above, I guessed at their approximate location and length by comparing the GE map Photo that Fisheries provided, and then trying to drop track on the closest location on the open GE app on my computer screen. I couldn't find the historical photo background that Fisheries Used in their photo, so fudged here and there. Both Files are NOT EXACT LOCATION OR LENGTH. OR REAL GPS COORDS but just for general idea of the area they might be in, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
One file is for import into GE as a route, the other is for Import in Homeport as Track and for this one I changed the title to prefix PN than name for sorting... I added one I saw just on portside as coming out of Harlowe and the one I have seen imultipl times at Halls Point...
As for "PN North Bay Corner" I abruptly met her once at planing speed, and we had intricately intimate biblical relations, sometime before 11pm..

BB..
Nice job on finding this content and putting it out there! As a referemce, not for navigational purposes :) Here was my internal voice last year going around the easter tip of Cedar Island..
"Hmmm. There's a net.. Ah. And that's where it ends.. There is a pole about 200 yards from where the net is.. There's no way it is connected to the net... I can sail through there no problem. Yep.. Safe.. OK.. Wait... Did I see something in the water that looked like a line? Oh shit.. I'm 20 yards from it, sailing downwind at 8 knots.. Board up.. Quick. Blow the rudder release. Shit... I can't believe that is connected.. I'm sure I'll sail right over it ony drawing 8" with board up.. Whew.. OK. Going over it now.. You gotta be kidding me. The boat is stuck on this line. How can it be so taught? Is it cable. Amazing.. Slowly getting over it. Yuck. That scraping sound is not good... And we're off it.. That was crazy. How in the world are we supposed to know the net and poles are connected......"
As much a anything I'm surprised they are not required to mark them..
THanks again!

Hello all.. quick question.. any idea what the approximate height of bridges over Harlow canal are? Having a hard time finding that information.. Thanks, Tony

AB, perhaps you already found link below ... it doesn't contain bridge dimensions, but does contain good photos and video of the three bridges and how not to hit your head, never heard or seen any of these seafaring people though....???

Active Captian shows the north Harlowe bridge as 7-foot verticle and 19-foot horizontal. Nothing shown for the middle bridge. The south bridge shows 7-foot verticle and 39-foot horizontal. That seems to match the videos.

Yesterday fearsome wind and gusts in 4.5hr session on LN, but when squall like passed the wind went from 30knt to 2, and a 180 shift, 30 minutes later it ramped up again from original direction but never got back to same intensity. Blazing speeds in really big chop...Great training, moreso beneficially humbling, energy exertion was exponential, made me realize again just how stupid overconfidence is.... Praying those conditions stay clear of the Outerbanks in a few weeks... Its really getting hot up here now too, thinking theres some connection with that and intense feelings of dehydration... need to pack a lot more water-

BB, just loaded your pound net tracks into my GPS.
What a fine person you are! Never again will I tell people that you're kind of weird.
Seriously, I owe you a 12 pack... That was hard work. Thanks.
