My forward stroke is coming along nicely. I'm not there, yet and sometimes revert back to old habits when I'm tired but for the most part, I feel fantastic and can go much longer distances than I could before. I've since switched to a Greenland Paddle with a hybrid as my backup (half greenland/half Euro), which is a faster paddle but takes more muscle. I know when I sart getting lazy because I can no longer keep up with the big-boys and must then get back into my stroke to catch up.
Of all the neat things I've learned from Triber's, the three most valuable are:
The Forward Stroke
The Low Brace to carve turns
The High Brace in leu of going over and having to roll, which I still don't know how, yet, but I'm getting there.
Thank you all who helped me to become a more efficient and safer paddler.
