SmittyPaddler has a great title for a race reporting thread. He has added the EC2012 tag and has his TribalName and his crew's TribalName as tags as well. A correctly formatted title along with the essential tags are extremely important if these logs are going to make sense and be easy to find. Adding the boat name in the title and tags is not needed but certainly OK.
Now a little tweak to the position information. It is fine to add lat/lon to the post but be very careful. In previous years this information has proven to be very error prone and unreliable. So go ahead and add it if you want, but it isn't that useful.
A better way to add position information is to describe your location in relation to the CPs or a map feature. For example, "About 10 miles north of CP2" is much more descriptive than the same info as lat/lon. Or something like "Just rounding Cape Sable" adds a bit of spice to your post.
Always add a tidbit regarding your mental, physical, and spiritual state. Something like "I'm feeling good and doing well" is what we want to hear. But if it is more like "I'm crying and scared s%&*less" well then we can all get a good laugh ha ha.
