I have noticed a couple of Watertribers who have donation buttons on blogs, or for them through through supporting/sponsor websites.
I'm pretty sure most boat owners doing these races out of pocket can use donations. Are there any qualifications (unofficial of course) if any for asking for donations, and does anyone actually get money to pay for racing and gear from it?
