Roo is building a 17 MK III. His pics are at http://messing-about.com/forums/topic/9098-cs17-mk3-hull-3-carlita/
So, Doug, you are at least tracking Watertribe correspondance rather than spending all your time on the river. Any progress on your CS 20 Mk 3 build?
And, Chief, of course Graham and Alan are doing a wonderful job on his Carlita. I'm wondering too how YOU are doing on your CS 17 Mk 3.
I have a deposit in for my own CS 17 Mk 3 though it looks like my kit won't be cut until Carlita's hull is complete. And, of course, we hope Carla gets better soon. Anyway the weather in Colorado is too nice to spend inside with sawdust and epoxy.

"Have cabin, will sleep"
We could end up with a B&B/Core Sound boats class within class 4.
Hal, summer has (as usual) been busy with teaching whitewater paddling and wilderness medicine. And now we are going to Nova Scotia for a camping/tourist trip and then to help with the Pamlico Challenge. Rudder and tiller are done. I hope to have all the running rigging done by departure. Then I need to do a tow rail for the cabin top and a rub rail for the sheer line. I don't think I'll get the cabin interior done by the B&B Messabout in October, but should have it donte by EC 2015. SS, yes, a Core Sound fleet. You guys get it started. Mine won't be ready till EC 2016. I think I'll have to name it "Just in Time" if I get it done before I'm too worn down to sail it.
Doug, I think it was Meade who warned me that the hull gets you about half way to a sailboat. Good l luck with your final steps. She looks great so far.
I'm making very slow progress but having fun. I just came in from the garage after adding some wood to the centerboard trunk. She looks to be a great class 4 boat. It'll be fun watching you guys sail away from me in EC2016.
I love being around innovative people! Thank you for the great pix. Fantastic job. I can't wait to see her on the starting line.
