I know you could get water in the bathrooms at the Harbor Park in goodland, but is there water available at the boat park/launch. That looks easier to get in/out of. Also, has anybody bivied at the boat park for a few hours after sunset? Are there better options in that vicinity for grabbing a few hours of sleep.

There are bathrooms at the Boat Park. Not sure if there is water if the bathrooms are locked. There is a nice bit of lawn next to the ramp for possile stealth napping.

I have stayed several times at the Goodland Boating Park 25° 55.251'N; 81° 38.761'W ( https://www.collierparks.com/collier_park/goodland-boating-park/ ). This is not the same as the Harbor Park. The bathrooms are locked at night and are opened early in the morning around 6AM. I don't believe that water is available after hours (last time I checked the external spigots were missing their handles). During normal hours there is water, a bathroom and a store (cold drinks, etc).
There is a large pavillion and often I setup under that to avoid any weather.
There is a concrete boat ramp and plenty of grass area available for tenting. I was packing up one year as the administrator arrived. Rather than being angry he said, "that's what this park is here for". He then proceeded to ask me all kinds of questions about kayaking, said he was building a kayak, and even traced the cockpit coaming on my 18x to use as a template for his kayak.
Pretty much the same has happened to me at the Matlacha water park. I wake up as the staff starts rolling in, and nobody gives me a problem or says a word. I can't say that about every place, but these two parks have been really supportive.

I started carrying little needle extra long nose pliars, after NCC CHKP 1's spigot handle prescence became intermittent & have found them helpful for hydration, also I found them lighter and a useful tool for all sorts of tangles and tasks... Thanks for the camp tip.

Cough, cough.... I’ve heard from a friend of a friend of a friend:

Works with most spigots. There are 8 and 9 way models that add support for elevator doors and other locks.

Called the Goodland Boat Park (239-389-4247).
Bathrooms open at 6:30AM. Park gate closes at 10PM.There is no potable water availble after hours. There is water near the boat ramp for rinsing boats / flushing motors, but they did not advise drinking it.
I'll be heading there is two weeks and will check on exterior spigots, etc.

Launched at the Goodland Boat Park on Friday.
There are two drinking fountains with cold water near the front of the park office. One of them is tall enough to accept a water bottle. I could not find any exterior spigots and did not see the (boat washing) hose near the boat ramp as advertised by the staff. Should you find that hose, the staff does not recommend drinking that water.
The boat ramp is wide with good traction under foot. There is not a separate kayak launch.
