There aren't too many campsites left at Fort DeSoto. Reserve a site soon. In the past we've had a mad scramble among folks looking for a camp site who put it off.

It's also not too early to reserve a room in Key Largo if you want to be within walking distance of the EC finish. The finish motel is the Bay Cove: 305-451-1686. Next door is the Pelican: 305-451-3576. Then the Sunset Cove: 305-451-0705.

I have site 69 on Thursday and Friday nights. Its just me, my car and my hammock, so I would be happy to share and split the costs. I will likely be arriving Thursday evening around 8pm. Let me know here, or email me at: b j a l g e r a @ g m a i l . c o m (remove the spaces...)

A message from Bay Cove: We have rooms for the 14th and 15th. It's the 13th that we have only one single room left. The same single room is also available 14th and 15th.

Anyone willing to share their campsite/costs for Mar 5/6, please let me know?. I would be car camping in my little Honda Element and towing a 16' sailboat on trailer. Thanks!
