Boat storage and hitching or pooling a ride

I have a friend flying down to paddle with me this weekend... Which means I have an extra boat.
Is there somewherenear Desota I could store her boat during the challenge? Planning on keeping my truck at the parking lot for the week but would like to find a secure place to stash her boat during race.

Also looking for ways to get my boat and I back north. If anyone has room for a Seawind and a paddler on their rig on Sat or Sunday, please let me know. May be looking at rental car options with roof pads to make the trip. Anyone interested in pooling back north, let me know.

I'm 20 minutes from the park. You are welcome to leave a boat in my yard(6' privacy fence) for the duration. No storage under cover but can cover with Tyvek if needed. Royd 727-642-3956

I'm dropping my vechicle off in Key Largo before the race. I would be happy to drop you off (De Soto?) on my way back to Atlanta. I have a trailer for my Sea Wind so the roof will be available. I'll bring my roof rails, pads, and straps along so you won't have to hold it down! Of course, this assumes I will make it to Key Largo in one piece...

With all the help I'm getting from fellow Watertribers, this is a chance to "pay it forward!"
