Is it worth it, in terms of performance increase, to add a 1) Jib 2) gennaker? I think a good jib size is 30SF? How about the gennaker?

Penguinman had a job on his boat, but the forestay bent the bow up. Be sure to reinforce before you try this.

Is this allowed for the class? A one design class I do not think would allow this kind of mod.

I am still working on adding a gennaker than I can also sail up to a beam reach. Haven't had a chance to test much, but it does seem to add power. I haven't worked out the mechanics of lauching and recovering. I believe there were several such additions in last eyar EC.
I would like to see the running rigging for this setup, if you have one.

In the past, I believe the boats that had non-standard sails have been scored in a separate class.

I've been flying a spinnaker for a while on the ti, you will run into some issues but the performance is worth it. It is difficult to add a spinning top to the mast to allow furling. It's not impossible, do some research on the hobbie forum. You will need a backstay or the mainsail can used as a stay. Furl the main half way and sheet it tight and it will act as crude backstay. After breaking a bunch of rudder pins, I replaced the rudder. The existing one is insufficient when surfing. An extra hundred square feet of sail is enough to get the ti consistently sailing faster than the waves.
Have fun, good luck.
