Need to fill water containers, recharge battaries for lights, put new Lithium batteries in Spot, and start loading things up. That and about a million other non-water-tribe things as well.

I hear the drums !! I'm up this morning and placing the last of the stuff in the truck. Will leave St. Pete this morning. May take two days to get up there. Plan is to stop off at Janes Island tomorrow night, check things out. Head up the Delmarva on Friday morning, do a bit of scouting, check in at CLC for the Fest. Hope everyone has a safe drive. Royd
Getting close to heading up to the OkoumeFest. Will probably get there Friday night around 11:00 PM.
See you tomorrow! Corsair and I are packed up. Almost (but not quite) forgot toothbrushes. Boat is covered and in the driveway, ready to hook up, drinking a beer and running a final list
Sleeping in tent in camping area. There was a bit of excitement earlier with a woman here needing an ambulance and I think all the Kent Island rescue and Law Enforcement personnel were here for a while. It is very quiet here now.
At the Okoume Fest, John Harris in his out-rigger that everybody was incorrectly thinking was a proa.
9:30 PM now. Alarm set for 4:45 AM. Should I hit the snooze ?
Kent Narrows with current and wind was sweet.
Puma et al boat was too big to fit under 1st bridge. They would have to dissesembe part of it. I hope they figured it out.
A bunch of us are camping at Tilghman Point. It is a good camping place once you get past the downed trees. We got on the side sheltered from the wind. I'm typing this laying in my hammock mounted on my TRIAK.
GO the CleanSlate! It was great fun crossing tacks with you in the Wye River... Corsair and I had a lumpy, nerve-wracking fetch to Tilghman Point, then thankfully cracked off to a broad reach for Bloody Point Light. We threw in a reef just before exiting the lee of Kent Island, since we'd be sailing into bigger waves and more wind. Kept it even as the wind died up the bay while watching flashing red lights on the Bay bridge: FD convention dealing with truck bonfire in the eastbound lanes.
The Lammerus duo did great work and we never saw them. They finished hours ahead of us. Chief was on the beach when we landed, along with BayRaider. SeaDawg finished twenty minutes or so after we did; he saw us pass in the dark although we never saw him. Corsair greeted the other finishers today, and was disappointed he didn't get to greet High&Dry who finished while we were wrapping up the awards dinner at Kent Narrows. He and I wish you GOOD LUCK and fair winds!
Badger, I enjoyed sailing near you in the Wye for a while. You must have been happy not to have to row as much as last year.
I'm doing the OFC and just stopped for my 2nd night. Pitched Hammock between two flimsy trees.
About half way back up the bay and I'm stopping for the night. I did get to take advantage if a southernly breeze in the evening and into the night
I can see the southern tip of Kent Iand on the distnt horizon.
If I get any wind this afternoon and evening, I'll push on through to the end.
Excellent! Did the T-storms ever materialize yesterday?
UR, both yesterday evening and also thi morning.
I tried to dodge them but got caught in a couple of down drafts. That was about the only wind I got the last couple of days. I'm fortunate that there is a very slight wind blowing me to the finish but I can only manage 2 knots. I'll take it
Parden any typos or weird words. I can barely see my phone screen and it is hard to type through the dry bag and I sometimes don't notice the "auto correct"
Got caught in another thunderstorm (3 for this challenge) on the approach to Kent Island. It was a big one but the gods spared me to do battle with me on a future challenge.
Limping down the Kent Island coast to the to the finish. Dead calm right now
You're doing a great job, CS!

I'll work on a video of the OFC in a few days once I'm back home, unpacked, and have other affairs put in order.
Congratulations on a great race, CleanSlate.
